Performs diagnostic and evaluation services for Preadmission Screening and Resident Review (PASRR) Level II and Level of Care assessments. PASRR is a federal requirement to help ensure that individuals are not inappropriately placed in nursing homes for long term care. All individuals seeking placement into a Medicaid-certified nursing facility must be:
Evaluated for serious mental illness (SMI) and/or intellectual disability (ID)
Offered the most appropriate setting for their needs (in the community, a nursing facility, or acute care setting)
Provided the services they need in those settings
IWC has a team of clinical professionals who administer the assessments across the State of Indiana on a fee-for-service, contractual basis.

Tailored Community Outreach
IWC works with community agencies, local program offices, schools, health centers and hospitals on a wide variety of health and wellness outreach activities. We organize creative events, including health fairs and youth programs. IWC also facilitates community meetings.
PASRR Level II Assessments
IWC recruits and manages licensed social workers, mental health counselors and registered nurses to complete and submit PASRR Level II assessments in the state of Indiana.

IWC provides a detailed and tailored plan to enhance outreach services for health centers and other programs serving children and families.
